Cher + Kevin

Cher and Kevin were a blast to work with! They brought along Ziggy, their adorable noodle horse dog (who I am obsessed with) We checked out a bunch of places around Stoney Creek Metro Park and they were total troopers for what a cold day it was! This session has so many great things like, a puppy, a dope engagement ring, a field of deer and oh! Don't forget the love. I cannot wait to be apart of their Fall wedding in Traverse City next year!!

They also let me play around with video, so that's included too! 

Dustin & Ani: Cozy Home Engagement

What a more perfect way to capture who you are as a couple than by having photos at home! I always encourage my clients to be themselves. Sometimes weddings wind up becoming a lot about the people you love more than it reflects who you are and sometimes there's a great balance. Engagement sessions are all about you and your everyday story or the story you feel inside. Dustin and Ani love to be at home, watch Netflix and eat grilled cheese... so that's what we did. Ani did have some great local structures with appealing design she wanted to take some photos in front of so we did venture out for a few. What I love about this couple and this session is that there is beauty in our everyday lives. The mundane is the most common but also the least noticed. I am so stoked to be apart of their delicious brunch wedding in May of 2017!
