HOW DO WE BOOK YOU?
After we meet and fall in love with each other.. we will proceed by signing the contract and a 25% nonrefundable retainer fee of your full package price is due. I do everything through PayPal so it's super easy. The contract goes over payment but the rest isn't due up until 7 days before the wedding. However if you'd like to do a payment plan that is an option as well.
WHATS YOUR SHOOTING STYLE?
I would say mainly documentary. I love to capture the moment.. or the in between. Obviously some posed photos are thrown in .. but mostly I love for my clients to just be themselves, laughs and enjoy one another. Although if you're a tiny bit awkward like me...between random sounds, dad jokes and trying to make you as comfortable as possible by embarrassing myself.. in comparison you'll always look real good.
TELL ME ABOUT THE ENGAGEMENT SESSION.
SO, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET OUR PHOTOS?
So, for engagements turn around time is about 2 weeks! & for weddings I say anywhere from 4-6 weeks out. But, guess what? 99% of the time I deliver same night sneak peeks. & a lot of them. (for weddings I average 50-70 the very same night)
The engagement session is *actually* free. & it isn't a 30 min thing. I usually block off an entire day/evening for these. It's our chance to get to know one another in a more relaxed setting. You get to see how I work and I get to see how you work best. I always encourage my clients to do something that really represents them for engagements.. whether thats sitting on the couch watching Netflix or making out in a field in the middle of no where. Im in. Also after we should totally get dinner together.
HOW MANY PHOTOS DO YOU TYPICALLY DELIVER?
There are some variables here: size of your wedding, hours of coverage, details, second shooter for instance. For the average wedding (6 hours) and a second shooter it's around 500-600 photos fully edited. Which is a lot.
SHOULD WE HAVE A SECOND SHOOTER?
I would say its a combination of how many guests you have and what is important to you. If your wedding is 100 or less it's very easy for me to make sure your day is documented very thoroughly. If you have more than that & really dig guest candids.. I'd say a second shooter will be one of the best decisions you make. & you typically get at least 100 more photos.

I travel I travel I travel and I will go to the ends of the earth. Please take me with you.
HOW ARE WE PROTECTED?
I have liability insurance. I shoot with dual card memory slots so your photos are always backed up! Then they are uploaded to an external and an online storage back up. If in the very unfortunate event I am in the hospital or a death occurs in my family (the only reasons I wouldn't show up) I will have an "on call" photographer ready with your approval. (you will be able to see their portfolio and give the go ahead before they are chosen)
